COVID-19 Information

Dear Patients

The CDC has recommended suspension of all routine eye care until further notice due to the nationwide outbreak of COVID-19. We intend to follow this recommendation to slow/prevent the spread of the virus in our community. Starting Monday March 23rd, 2020 our office will be closed to Walk-ins.  Staff will be available by phone from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Please be assured that our doctors are still available for all urgent and emergent issues. We will also try to help with routine matters as best we can during this challenging time.

What this means:

  • If you are scheduled for a routine/yearly exam we will be rescheduling you. We will be focused on the next two weeks but will be continually monitoring the situation
  • If your glasses are broken or you need to replace glasses or contact lenses,  please contact us and we will assist you as best we can to get you buy until we are able to see you.
  • If you need a medication refill please contact us and we can electronically transmit the refill to the pharmacy
  • If you have an emergency,  contact the office and a doctor will see if the issue can be resolved with a phone consultation or skype/video call. If it can’t be resolved that way the doctors will do their best to meet you at the office whenever possible.

During this period of social distancing and quarantine we urge everyone to do their part and restrict activities outside the home except getting food and medical care. Please just stay home. Despite the financial and emotional hardships this will cause we ask everyone to do the same.  We will get through this as a unified community.

Thank you for your understanding, Sincerely your Vision Source team.
